Point of View

As a services firm, our most valuable commodities are our expertise and thought leadership. By sharing expertise openly with the community, we hope to engage with people in an impactful way to help them make more informed technology and business decisions while they are in the process of purchasing a technology platform or implementing a new technology solution.

Community outreach and idea exchange is a way to increase awareness while demonstrating the capabilities and culture of our team. When an organization decides they need a technology partner, we hope to have already delivered value and established a baseline familiarity through community events and thought leadership without having asked for anything upfront. An enterprise assumes an enormous amount of risk when choosing a technology partner. This is our way of trying to mitigate that risk.

We find many of our clients and potential clients have the internal knowledge to implement a baseline SharePoint solution and support it. However, there are times when gleaning from others’ “lessons learned” can help to avoid pitfalls or quickly resolve production environment issues. This is especially true when SharePoint, and applications in general, begin to gain increased adoption or require tighter integration with other enterprise systems. We recognize that there is a need for access to short-term support from a technology partner and have modeled our business to support those with this need. This allows us to be helpful even if we are not beginning a long-term, full-scale delivery project.

Our experience has shown that delivering strategic engagements and providing short-term support allows organizations to develop a level of trust in our abilities and methods. Therefore, when firms lack resources or expertise to build a solution, they are comfortable reaching out to us for help. As such, we maintain teams of skilled solution design and implementation resources so we can assist with full-scale project implementations.
